The 2024 program will include:

3 international photography competitions.
1 international short film competition.
19 solo photography exhibitions.
Εxhibition by Lousie Foundation of 38 famous photographers.
3 group exhibitions with the participation of twenty-five (29) photographers.
A two-day film festival with 16 short films and an award ceremony for two films.
Screening of 3 short films by young directors of Agrinio.
Portfolio Reviews.
Presentations – discussion.
Music events.
Collaboration with students of visual arts workshop.

Photo Exhibition

Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival, in the framework of the promotional events, organizes a photography exhibition with the theme: “Parenthoods” which will be hosted at the Kapralos Museum in Agrinio, from May 12 to May 25.

Screening

Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival gives a platform to the young creators of Agrinio and presents three short films!
The aim is twofold. We promote art and cinema, giving young creators the opportunity to share their work with the audience and discuss it with them and strengthen the film community of Agrinio, offering a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences and creativity.
Come and discover together the world of cinema, be inspired by new creative voices and create a network that will support the development and evolution of cinema in Agrinio.

Results

We are pleased to announce the selected photographers for the “Parenthoods” open call.
331 photographers from 24 countries responded to the call with 629 photos.
105 Photographers, 168 photos have been selected and will be printed and displayed in Kapralos Museum in Agrinio 12-25 May!
Many thanks to all those who participated in the invitation.

Results

We announce the names of the 15 photographers, selected from our invitation on the theme “Environmental Concerns”, who will participate in the respective exhibition at the main events of the festival.

We announce the portfolios that will participate in the exhibition Photofolios: 24, from 28 September to  9 October 2024.

The number of entries and the quality of the works was very high and the jury selected 9 portfolios instead of the 8 that were announced!
